Solids
Solids have a defined shape and volume. That is because the particles in a solid remain close together due to the fact that the attraction forces between them is so strong. Solids are separated into two types. Crystalline solids have very orderly, three dimensional arrangements of atoms or molecules. Examples would include iron, Diamond, and ice. Amorphus solids on the other hand are composed of atoms or molecules that are not arranged in a particular order. Examples include rubber and wax.
